De Wennemars® ECF Yellow Teat for a optimal start!
Practical Tips:
- Use a previously used or yellow teat for the first colostrum feeding. For the second colostrum feeding, use a yellow ECF teat. When the calf is able to drink on its own, switch to the Wennemars® ECF Black Teat.
- Be precise and do not let calves drink for to long from the yellow teat. If you let them use the yellow teat for to long, they will get used to a fast milk flow too quickly. This can lead to “suckers” (overindulgence). The calves may not feel satisfied with their amount of food. This is why we recommend changing the teat according to our guidelines to the ECF teat.
